Job Overview We're hiring an experienced Trade Show Booth Contractor to manage booth builds for our clients. Handle everything from setup to teardown for 10x10 to 20x20 ft booths. This is a flexible, remote role with travel to US conferences (we cover flights, hotels, meals, and ground transport). No need to staff during the entire event, just stay on call for 1-hour response to issues. Ideal for detail-oriented pros with booth-building expertise. Key Responsibilities: - Assemble and configure booths per client designs, ensuring flawless execution. Coordinate logistics and drayage: transport, delivery, venue coordination. - Perform multi-disciplinary installs: electrical, lighting, LED strips, cable management, foam flooring, furniture assembly. - Manage on-site laborers for larger events (setup, maintenance, teardown). - Provide on-call support during conferences (1-hour response for fixes; no constant presence required). - Dismantle booths post-event, pack securely, and handle return shipping/storage. - Conduct quality checks for safety, function, and aesthetics; troubleshoot as needed. Required Skills & Experience: - Proven track record building trade show/marketing booths (include examples/references in proposal). - Proficiency in booth logistics, drayage, electrical work, lighting/LEDs, cable management, flooring, furniture. - Experience supervising show laborers on big projects. - Strong problem-solving, attention to detail in high-pressure settings. - Willingness to travel (US events; flexible schedules). - Reliable communicator for on-call duties. - Own basic tools preferred (we provide specialized materials). - Valid driver's license; ability to lift 50 lbs.
