SADDLEBERK Retail Demo Brand Ambassador/ Product Taster COMPANY Saddleberk POSITION TYPE Part-time PAY $25 per hour LOCATION Retail and event locations throughout the assigned market Position Summary Saddleberk is looking for a friendly, outgoing, and professional Brand Ambassador to represent our products during in-store tastings and demonstrations. This person will introduce customers to the Saddleberk brand, prepare and distribute product samples, explain what makes our products special, and create a positive experience for shoppers and retail partners. The ideal candidate enjoys meeting new people, is comfortable starting conversations, and has a genuine passion for local makers and high-quality food. Typical Schedule Most demonstrations take place on: • Saturdays and Sundays from 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. or 12:00-3:00 p.m. • Occasional Thursdays or Fridays from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Candidates should have dependable weekend availability. Demonstration dates and locations will be scheduled in advance. Compensation and Travel • $25 per hour • Driving time exceeding 30 minutes will be paid according to Saddleberk's travel-pay policy • Saddleberk will provide branded materials, including a shirt, hat, table, apron, signage, and other necessary demonstration supplies Responsibilities • Arrive on time and prepared for each scheduled demonstration • Set up an attractive, clean, and organized sampling station • Prepare, heat, and serve Saddleberk products safely and according to instructions • Greet shoppers and actively invite them to sample products • Share Saddleberk's story and explain product features in an engaging, knowledgeable way • Encourage customers to purchase products from the participating retailer • Maintain a friendly and professional relationship with store employees and managers • Follow all food-safety, sanitation, retailer, and company requirements • Keep the demonstration area clean and properly stocked • Break down and clean the station at the end of each event • Provide basic feedback following each demonstration, including customer reactions, estimated samples served, and product sales when available • Properly care for and transport all Saddleberk-provided equipment and branded materials Qualifications • Friendly, enthusiastic, and comfortable speaking with the public • Professional appearance and dependable work habits • Passion for locally made products, quality food, and supporting local businesses • Ability to work independently with limited supervision • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to assigned retail locations • Ability to stand for approximately three hours and lift or carry demonstration supplies • Comfortable preparing and serving food • Willingness to obtain any required food-safety or food-handler certification • Previous experience in food sampling, retail, customer service, hospitality, or sales is helpful but not required About Saddleberk: Saddleberk is an Ohio-based producer committed to offering high-quality pork products and supporting local agriculture.
