We need outgoing, personable in-store demo reps to share Sommerly's culinary-inspired ice cream with Whole Foods and Central Market shoppers. As a Brand Ambassador, you'll create memorable taste experiences that transport people to dream-worthy destinations - turning curious browsers into flavor-obsessed fans, one ice cream cup at a time. About Sommerly: Culinary-inspired ice cream meant to make any moment feel like the best day of summer. Our flavors draw inspiration from dream-worthy destinations from Norway to Morocco, Italy, Japan, and Peru. Perfectly portioned in 3.5oz cups with simple, high-quality ingredients—no gluten, no seed oils. Sommerly in an exciting phase of growth with distribution in Whole Foods, Central Market, Sprouts and more. As Brand Ambassador, you're critical to our momentum—when you convert shoppers into fans, we expand shelf presence, launch new flavors, and grow! What You’ll Do: Be the friendly face introducing Houston to Sommerly. Sample ice cream, build genuine connections, and hit sales goals. Set up your demo station, merchandise displays, take quality photos, and submit detailed recaps—all while representing Sommerly with energy and professionalism. Responsibilities: • Run demos at Whole Foods and Central Market (select weekdays + weekends, 4-hour shifts) • Share Sommerly's story and the global inspiration behind each flavor • Meet and exceed sales goals by turning taste into purchase • Merchandise displays, check inventory, maintain brand standards • Setup and breakdown demo station (cooler, signage, samples) • Capture quality photos and submit detailed, high-quality recaps within 24 hours Requirements: • Outgoing & friendly personality: you love connecting with people • Genuine passion for food & travel: you get excited about unique flavors and the stories behind them • Previous brand ambassador, food service, or retail experience preferred • Reliable transportation to attend events and transport demo equipment & valid Driver's License • Comfortable lifting 25 lbs and standing 4+ hours • Self-starter who works well independently • Adheres to food safety protocols Compensation & Benefits: • $28-30/hour DOE • Mileage reimbursement • 8-12 hours/week (2-3 demos/week) • Part-time, contract • Potential for increased hours/expanded territory based on performance Why Join: When shoppers meet you, they're meeting our brand.
