Multiple Locations: CA (SF / LA / San Diego), CO (Denver / Boulder), AZ (Phoenix/Flagstaff), TX (Austin / Houston), WA (Seattle/Mill Creek), GA (Greater Atlanta area) Hours: 20-40 hours/month (weekend availability required) Contract Type: 1099 Contractor Start Date: ASAP About The Role The Cumin Club is looking for energetic, food-loving Brand Ambassadors to bring our chef-crafted Indian meals to life inside retail stores. As the face of our brand, you'll help customers taste their way into discovering a new favorite meal, all while sharing the story behind our modern take on Indian home cooking. We’ve sold over 3M units online and are rapidly growing our retail presence. If you love connecting with people, lighting up a space, and talking about delicious food, this is the perfect part-time role. What You’ll Do: - Run in-store sampling demos at partner retailers to introduce shoppers to our meals - Educate customers about The Cumin Club: our flavors, our origin story, and how our freeze-dried meals make authentic Indian food accessible in minutes - Track and report demo insights including sales, customer reactions, and learnings from each shift - Merchandise our shelf presence by checking placement, facing product, and taking photos - Build strong relationships with store managers, staff, and regional teams - Set up and break down demo stations with brand professionalism and care What We’re Looking For: - Someone warm, friendly, and comfortable engaging with all types of shoppers - A love of food — no need to be an expert in Indian cuisine - Ability to stand for ~3–4 hours at a time - Ability to lift up to 20 lbs (demo materials, supplies, etc.) - Must have reliable transportation and comfort traveling between local stores - Prior demo/sampling experience is a plus, but not required - A self-starter who can represent our brand with pride and enthusiasm What We Provide: - All demo supplies (table, materials, samples, signage, etc.) and merch - Brand training and talking points - Support from our marketing and retail teams - Mileage reimbursement for approved travel Schedule - Demos typically run Friday through Monday, with weekend availability required. - Total hours: 35–60 hours per month, depending on store schedules and your availability.
