We’re hiring outgoing, reliable, and energetic event staff to support a series of upcoming retail activations happening at a local fuel center and retail superstore. Multiple roles are available across three unique activations—from product sampling to crowd engagement to light pit crew-inspired service. Roles: Team Lead & Brand Ambassadors
Compensation: Hourly + up to 1 hour of travel pay per shift
ACTIVATION 1: Rewards Program Sampling Experience
Dates:
Wednesday, August 13 // 6:00 AM – 11:30 AM
Friday, August 15 – Sunday, August 17 // 2:30 PM – 7:30 PM
Friday, August 22 – Tuesday, August 26 // 2:30 PM – 7:30 PM
Wednesday, August 27 // 6:30 AM – 11:30 AM
Duties Include:
Set up and break down of a small footprint (banner, spin wheel, display)
Encourage customers to spin the wheel and win prizes
Share key talking points about a retail membership program
Engage fuel center guests with energy and professionalism
ACTIVATION 2: “Pit Crew” Auto Services Promo
Dates:
Monday, August 25 // 2:30 PM – 7:30 PM
Tuesday, August 26 // 2:30 PM – 7:30 PM
Duties Include:
Greet customers at the pump with offers to clean windows or take car trash
Light cleaning duties using provided supplies
Share quick, helpful info about in-store auto services
Bring “pit crew” energy with a friendly, helpful attitude
ACTIVATION 3: Grand Opening Event Support
Date: Wednesday, August 27 // 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Duties Include:
Help manage line flow and guest movement
Support grand opening ceremony with noise makers and confetti cannons
Assist with meet & greet moments and photo ops
Share general store and service info with customers
Assist with post-event breakdown (tents, stanchions, etc.)
Ideal Candidates:
Outgoing and approachable
Comfortable initiating conversations and engaging with the public
Team players who thrive in energetic environments
Reliable, punctual, and able to follow direction
Comfortable standing for long periods and lifting up to 25 lbs
Additional Details:
Staff can be booked for one, two, or all activations
Priority given to those available for multiple dates
Travel pay of up to 1 hour available per day, as needed
