Twin Cities Road Crew

The Twin Cities Road Crew is a dynamic team of performers who create high-energy interactive community events for our clients. We are currently seeking performers for our 2025-2026 school assemblies. We’ll be facilitating nearly 75 assemblies at schools in the Twin Cities metro area this year. Assembly themes will include: Recycling, Conservation, Safety, financial literacy! Our assemblies are upbeat and fun, and involve dancing and interacting with students. Performance and dance backgrounds are a plus. The people we’re looking to hire are: High energy, positive, good communicators Friendly and approachable Enthusiastic Professional and Positive - Schools are an environment in which adaptability is key. Collaborative, friendly and approachable Reliable and dependable Dance experience a plus Empathy and Cultural Awareness Daytime availability - We’re activating at schools so weekday availability is essential Must be able to lift at least 40lbs Must be able to stand for long periods of time: 3-8 hours when needed BIPOC are encouraged to apply as we want students to see themselves in our crew, so hiring a diverse group of young adults is a must! This is a flexible, ongoing, part-time opportunity for someone who enjoys interacting with others, and putting a smile on kids’ faces. This is an independent contractor position - hours are based on staffing needs. Experience with kids, dance, and performance is a plus, but not required. Must have a vehicle, as we are not on a public transit line.
