The Twin Cities Road Crew is a dynamic team of performers who create high-energy interactive community events for our clients.
We are currently seeking performers for our 2025-2026 school assemblies. We’ll be facilitating assemblies at schools in the Twin Cities metro area this year. Assembly themes will include: Recycling, Conservation, Safety, financial literacy!

Our assemblies are upbeat and fun, and involve dancing and interacting with students. Performance and dance backgrounds are a plus. The people we’re looking to hire are:
High energy and positive attitude
Adaptability and improvisation skills
Clear, articulate and educational-focused communication. It is important that hosts deliver the educational messaging clearly and dynamically; in a manner/vocabulary/tone that is grade and audience appropriate.
Memorization skills
Keeping a timed schedule
Creative problem solving - You may occasionally experience a school with students that require minor adjustments or accommodations.
Empathy and cultural awareness - All school cultures and students are different.
Reliability and consistency - Being on time is crucial as these are timed programs
Professional appearance- Stage Ready for each show
Collaborative, friendly and approachable - we are a team
Preparedness and professionalism

Dance Experience - Our assemblies are upbeat and fun, and involve dancing and interacting with students. Performance and/or dance background is a plus
We love performers with a lot of stage or on-mic experience. We also look for hosts that may not have the experience, but have the right personality and self-awareness. Our greatest need is for lead hosts, with the ability to hold the room for themselves and the crew.
This is a flexible, ongoing, part-time opportunity for someone who enjoys interacting with others, and putting a smile on kids’ faces.This is an independent contractor position. Work is flexible and based on staffing needs. Experience with kids, dance, and performance is a plus, but not required. Must have a vehicle, as we are not on a public transit line.
