EVENT LOCATION: Hickory Motor Speedway, 3130 US Highway 70 Southeast, Newton, NC 28658 (promoted as the Charlotte-area date) HOURS: Sunday, October 4, 2026, 11:00 AM - 6:00 PM (7 hours). Gates open at noon; we start an hour early so the booth is set up before the crowd arrives. Plus a paid 1-hour virtual training before the event, scheduled at your convenience. JOB OVERVIEW Zapp is a money transfer service that lets people send money home to Latin America directly from WhatsApp, with no app to download. We're activating a booth at Festival Catracho 2026, a Honduran community festival, and we need two outgoing, Spanish-speaking brand ambassadors to work it with us. This is not a flyering job. You'll be having real conversations and walking festival-goers through a live two-minute demo on their own phone. RESPONSIBILITIES - Approach attendees and start conversations in Spanish - Walk each person through a short demo on their own phone: scan our QR code, check the opt-in box, and continue in WhatsApp until the bot asks their name and amount - Run the prize wheel and the bicycle raffle, including collecting entries on the registration sheets - Announce the 5:00 PM bike drawing throughout the day and help run it - Take notes on what people ask and where they get stuck - we build a learnings report after every event - Help with booth setup at 11:00 AM and teardown at the end SKILLS / REQUIREMENTS - Fluent conversational Spanish (required - this is a Honduran community festival) - Outgoing and comfortable approaching strangers all day - Prior brand ambassador or field marketing experience preferred - Comfortable using a smartphone to demo a product - Able to stand for the full shift at an outdoor venue; reliable transportation to the speedway BONUS Branded apparel provided. This is one of several Central American community festivals we're staffing this fall, so strong performers will be first in line for future bookings.
