Ace The Event is hiring On- Site Registration & Auction Event Staff in New York, NY Role: On-Site Support Event Date: 03/07/2026 Call Time 4:00 pm - 10:30 pm Location: New York, NY Pay Rate: $25-30 per hour Overview: Ace The Event is a nationwide staffing agency dedicated to providing top-tier event staffing and solutions to organizations hosting live events. Our team works with mobile bidding software that enhances the fundraising aspects at live events. The schedule is flexible and completely based around your availability! Brand Ambassador and experience using a mobile bidding platform (Ex: GiveSmart or GoFundMe Pro [Classy Live]; Bloomerang Fundraising [QGiv]; OneCause, etc.) is preferred. Key Details: Type: Part-Time, Independent Contractor Duration: Indefinite Hours: Seasonal and flexible, varying based on event schedules. Primarily Thursday, Friday, Saturday evenings. OSM Role Description: As an On-Site Manager (OSM), this role plays a key part in ensuring the success of nonprofit fundraising events by leading the onsite support staff responsible for mobile bidding software and guest engagement. The OSM serves as the primary onsite lead for the mobile bidding experience, coordinating with clients, volunteers, and event partners to ensure accurate data entry, smooth system operations, and a positive guest experience. This role requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, live event environment. The ideal OSM is excited to support nonprofit organizations and mission-driven work. Responsibilities: Lead and manage onsite support staff operating mobile bidding software at nonprofit fundraising events Prepare for events by reviewing campaign sites and internal documentation, and conduct an onsite client walkthrough to confirm run of show and mobile bidding logistics Provide mobile bidding platform overviews and guidance to volunteers and onsite staff; serve as the primary escalation point for technical or process issues Oversee VIP and general guest registration, payment information collection, and bidder account accuracy Support guests with mobile bidding and troubleshooting, including silent auction adjustments, pricing updates, and additional fundraising elements Lead and support live auction and donation appeal clerking, ensuring accurate real-time data entry and donor attribution Manage bidder communications, auction close, guest checkout, and payment processing to ensure a smooth event experience Minimum Qualifications: Experience supporting live events (nonprofit experience preferred) Professional, reliable, and punctual with strong attention to detail Excellent customer service skills with a positive, enthusiastic attitude Comfortable using technology, including mobile apps, tablets, and web-based systems Ability to stay calm, focused, and adaptable in fast-paced live event environments Ability to stand for extended periods during events Must have reliable transportation Nice-to-Have Qualifications: Experience supporting nonprofit fundraising events Experience with mobile bidding platforms such as OneCause, GiveSmart, or Classy Experience troubleshooting mobile bidding systems during live events Prior experience leading or managing staff or volunteers at events To apply, email careers@acetheevent.com and include: Name and Contact Info Location/ Event you are interested in Request Job Application Unavailable for this event but interested in future work?
