Brand Ambassador – Santa Monica Festival Street Team
We are hiring outgoing, dependable Brand Ambassadors to support a three-day promotional street team campaign in Santa Monica. This team will help build awareness for an upcoming major festival by visiting local businesses, distributing promotional materials, and engaging with business owners, managers, employees, and community members.
Responsibilities
-Travel through an assigned Santa Monica coverage zone as part of a coordinated street team
-Visit local businesses and speak professionally with owners, managers, and employees
-Distribute postcards and flyers to approved businesses and high-traffic areas
-Ask businesses for permission to display festival posters in visible locations
-Clearly communicate key festival information and approved messaging
-Track the number of businesses visited and promotional materials distributed
-Take photos and provide updates throughout the shift
-Participate in team check-ins, restocking runs, and end-of-day recaps
-Follow all instructions provided by the on-site Team Lead and remote account team
-Represent the client and agency in a friendly, energetic, and professional manner
Qualifications
-Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable approaching local businesses
-Strong verbal communication and customer service skills
-Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently within an assigned area
-Comfortable walking and standing outdoors for most of the shift
-Able to carry a reasonable supply of postcards, flyers, and posters
-Must have a smartphone with reliable service for check-ins, photos, and reporting
-Previous brand ambassador, street team, event, sales, canvassing, or customer-facing experience is preferred
-Familiarity with Santa Monica is helpful but not required
Additional Details
Location: Santa Monica, California
Campaign length: Three days (8 hours per day)
Schedule: Exact dates and shift times to be confirmed
Attire: Branded shirt or approved apparel will be provided; additional dress guidelines will be shared before the event
Transportation: Team members must be able to report to the designated meeting location and travel throughout their assigned walking zone
Training: A virtual or on-site briefing will be provided before the first shift
