Greetings from Assist Marketing! 😀We are on the hunt for fun-loving, energetic, and engaging Mascot Performers and Mascot Handlers to bring excitement to a retail store grand opening in Conway & Aiken, South Carolina! Contact Imani at imani@assistmarketing.com for immediate consideration. 📅Dates/Times: Conway, SC: Monday, October 19th - Wednesday, October 21st (10:30am - 3:30pm) Aiken, SC: Monday, November 9th - Wednesday, November 11th (10:30am - 3:30pm) 💸Pay: Mascot: $33/hr Mascot Handler/Promo Staff: $30/hr ⭐ PERKS: Travel bonus up to $25/day IF traveling from 50+ miles away Program Details: ✅ Bring our beloved Penguin character to life! Staff will be interacting with consumers, posing for pictures, and adding that WOW factor to the grand opening experience. ✅ You must be comfortable working in an outdoor environment, in costume (If hired for a mascot role) and animated with your movements. ✅ Preference is given to those available for all days of the event. ✅ Staff not hired for mascot roles will assist with mascot/consumer interactions, photos with consumers, holding signs, and helping draw consumers into the store. ✅ Mascot Performer height requirement of 5'6"–5'9" for best visibility ✅ On-site Backups will arrive at the start time and check in on-site with the team lead/client. If any staff members are late, do not show up, etc., they will be kept for the full shift and will be paid the full rate associated with that position. If everyone is on time, you will be sent home and will be compensated at a $60.00/flat rate per day as long as you are on time, in uniform, and meet all expectations set in your booking confirmation. You may be kept up to (1) hour after the start of the event to ensure all Assist Marketing events at this venue are fully staffed.
