As our Assistant Manager, you’ll be responsible for providing managerial oversight for brand activations primarily in non-retail environments. You will be the designated lead for your team of Brand Ambassadors. Our Assistant managers will be required to continuously develop and provide insights on optimizing performance for the program and its growth within the market. The Assistant Manager ensures all activity that takes place within the market is executed with strict adherence to regulated compliance standards. They are responsible for scheduling activities, driving a company vehicle to transport program assets and management of activations set up and tear down. They continuously maintain accurate inventory levels to support the execution of all activations. The Assistant Manager position requires routine travel throughout the market to support program asset placements. Periodic, mandatory, travel overnight to attend meetings and trainings is also a requirement of this role. REQUIRED SKILLS Skills: You have strong problem-solving and excellent communication skills. You have the ability to multitask, make positive judgements and display decision-making skills. You have customer experience or consumer engagement experience (2+ years preferred). Leadership: You have led a team of employees including training, scheduling, coaching, and support. As primary point of contact for your team of 8-10 brand ambassadors, you will be the first one that they reach out to. Schedule: Flexible schedule is required for nights and weekends as shifts will run as late as 2-3AM. Must be available for occasional team/market meetings that may occur outside of nightlife hours. Requirements: You must be 21 or older, comfortable working for a tobacco / nicotine brand, have reliable transportation, and the ability and willingness to pass certification assessment for DOT Driving standards.
