As our Assistant Manager, you’ll be responsible for providing the managerial oversight for brand activations primarily in non-retail environments in select locations throughout the market. They are the designated lead for the team of Brand Ambassadors assigned to them. They continuously develop and provide insights on optimizing performance for the program’s performance growth within the market.
The Assistant Manager ensures that all activity that takes place within the market is executed with strict adherence to regulated compliance standards. They are responsible for scheduling activities, driving a company vehicle to transport program assets, the management of activities, and set up and tear down of the footprints. They continuously maintain accurate inventory levels that are needed to support the execution of all activities assigned to them.
The Assistant Manager position requires routine travel throughout the market to support program asset placements and scheduled activities. Periodic, mandatory, travel overnight to attend meetings and trainings is also a requirement of this role.

REQUIRED SKILLS
Skills. You have strong negotiation, influencing and problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask, strong judgement and decision-making skills. You have customer experience or consumer engagement experience (2+ years preferred).
Leadership. You have lead a team of employees including training, scheduling, coaching, and supporting them. This is crucial as leadership is the primary element of your position for the On! Program in-market.
Schedule: Required to be flexible in work schedule to include days, nights, and weekends. You will be the primary point of contact for your team of 8-10 brand ambassadors, therefore if they need support, you will be the first one that they reach out to.
Team Mindset. You possess the ability to attract and retail talent that’s hired for your team and have an action and result based mindset.
Requirements. You must be 21 or older, comfortable with working for a tobacco / nicotine brand, have reliable transportation, and the ability and willingness to pass certification assessment for DOT Driving standards.
