Title: Badge Scanner – Cybersecurity Conference Location: Austin, TX Dates: May 11–13 (May 11th & 12th required) Shifts: Typically 6–8 morning until early evening hours depending on role (some exceptions) Pay: $28 hr paid via direct deposit (W2) We’re looking for friendly, detail-oriented staff to support badge scanning at a fast-paced cybersecurity conference. You’ll be one of the first points of contact for attendees, helping keep entry points organized, efficient, and secure. What You’ll Do: Scan attendee badges quickly and accurately at entry points Welcome guests and help keep lines moving smoothly Provide basic directions and assist with general questions Escalate any registration or access issues to the appropriate team Help maintain a professional, organized, and secure check-in environment What We’re Looking For: Strong attention to detail and reliability Friendly, professional communication skills Comfortable standing for extended periods in a fast-paced setting Ability to stay focused and follow check-in procedures carefully Previous event or registration experience is a plus
