Role: Warehouse & Operations Manager, Events Logistics Location: Compton, CA Contract: 6 months, with the opportunity to convert to full-time Pay Rate: Approximately $32/hour About the Role We are seeking a hands-on Warehouse & Operations Manager to oversee daily warehouse and field operations in Compton. This person will manage staff, inventory, vehicles, equipment, and job preparation to ensure projects run smoothly and on schedule. This is a great opportunity for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing a fast-paced operation. Responsibilities Oversee daily warehouse and field operations. Coordinate staffing, schedules, vehicles, equipment, and supplies for upcoming jobs. Hire, train, schedule, and manage warehouse staff, drivers, and production assistants. Track inventory, document incoming and outgoing equipment, and report missing or damaged items. Maintain a clean, organized, and secure warehouse. Monitor vehicle condition, maintenance, and driver compliance. Review employee schedules and time entries for accuracy. Keep job details, inventory records, and operational updates current in company systems. Identify problems, resolve issues quickly, and recommend process improvements. Qualifications 3+ years of experience in warehouse management, logistics, event production, or field operations. Experience supervising and managing teams. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to prioritize tasks and solve problems in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable using inventory systems, scheduling tools, and basic computer applications. Reliable, proactive, and willing to take ownership of day-to-day operations. Additional Details This is a 6-month contract position with the potential to convert to a full-time role based on business needs and performance.
