🌟 CASTING CALL – Old Spice Graduation Event 🌟 📍 Location Florida Memorial University 15800 N.W. 42nd Avenue, Miami Gardens, FL 33054 🔥 Project Overview Karma Casting is looking for one energetic Mascot Performer and one experienced Handler to support an Old Spice Graduation event in Miami. This activation will focus on high-energy guest interaction, photo opportunities, and creating a memorable brand experience for attendees. The mascot and handler team will work together throughout the event to ensure smooth guest engagement, crowd interaction, and overall operational support. The mascot role requires specialized talent comfortable performing in costume for extended periods while maintaining strong energy and movement. The handler will support communication, crowd management, mascot safety, and overall guest flow throughout the activation. 💵 Pay Rates Mascot Performer: $55/hour Handler / Brand Ambassador: $35/hour 📅 Date June 4th, 2026 🕒 Schedule 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM 🎭 Roles & Responsibilities Mascot Performer: • Interact with guests in costume through movement, posing, and non-verbal engagement • Maintain high energy and professionalism throughout the activation • Participate in photo opportunities and crowd interaction moments • Work closely with handler to ensure smooth execution and safety Handler / Brand Ambassador: • Support mascot movement, communication, and crowd interaction • Assist with guest flow and maintaining a positive experience • Help manage mascot breaks, hydration, and operational support • Serve as liaison between mascot, client team, and attendees onsite 📏 Mascot Requirements • Must be between 5’8” and 6’0” tall • Comfortable performing in mascot costume for event duration • Outgoing, professional, and high-energy personality • Prior mascot or costume character experience preferred 👕 Uniform Provided by Client: Mascot suit for mascot performer Handler to Wear: • Black polo (no logos) • Black pants (no jeans) • Black shoes 🎓 Training All staff will be required to attend a mandatory 30-minute virtual training session prior to the event. Date/time TBD. 🚗 Additional Details • Parking will be reimbursed if free parking is unavailable • Talent must be reliable, professional, and comfortable in high-traffic event environments Please note that between May and August, any staff member who bails from a confirmed shift without documented proof of a legitimate emergency will receive no gigs from the Karma Casting App for a minimum of six (6) months. Certain positions may require a background screening after a conditional offer of employment.
