Kinetic Events Staffing is hiring Team Leads to execute game day operations at Stanford University this fall. Our staff managers will oversee 10–20 staff members across multiple gates at Stanford Stadium, ensuring smooth guest entry, ticket scanning, bag checks, ushering, wayfinding, and overall gate management. This role requires hands-on leadership in a high-volume environment and the ability to troubleshoot and adapt quickly on event day. We’re looking for experienced event professionals—especially those with event production/production management and people management backgrounds—who can lead by example, motivate their team, and ensure an exceptional guest experience. While priority will be given to candidates available for the dates below, additional event management opportunities will be available throughout this year and next. Event Dates (Availability for all dates is strongly preferred) Saturday, September 13 Saturday, September 27 Saturday, October 18 Saturday, November 1 Saturday, November 22 Saturday, November 29 Shift Details Typical shift length: 6–8 hours Pay: $27/hour – paid weekly via direct deposit Free parking near the venue Uniform: Black pants, black button-down or polo, closed-toe black shoes; client provides branded jacket/vest Responsibilities Manage and direct a team of 10–20 staff across multiple stadium gates Serve as primary liaison between Kinetic Events management, client contacts, and frontline staff Ensure all staff are in position, properly equipped, and meeting performance expectations Monitor and support ticketing and security processes at assigned gates Troubleshoot guest or operational issues in real time Maintain accurate headcounts, break schedules, and shift compliance Job Requirements Proven event production or production management experience Previous experience managing 10+ staff in a high-volume venue or live event setting Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure Tech-savvy (comfortable using mobile apps, ticketing systems, or handheld scanners) Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills Professional demeanor, punctuality, and reliability are essential Ability to stand/walk for 6–8 hours and lift up to 25 lbs as needed Local to Bay Area (no travel reimbursement provided) Why Work With Kinetic Events Staffing?
