FOR THE 25th CONSECUTIVE YEAR, the 2025 John Deere Classic is scheduled to be held at TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Illinois, from July 2nd thru 6th, 2025. This PGA Golf Tournament is the Quad Cities' premier golf event and the only PGA TOUR event in the region. We are looking to place 2 Outstanding, Hardworking Promo People / Brand Ambassadors inside the PGA Tour's Fan Shop to represent KNOCKAROUND SUNGLASSES, the Official Sunglasses of the PGA TOUR! PAY RATE & HOURS: We pay our Promo People / Brand Ambassadors $28.00 an hour. From Tuesday thru Sunday, our Promo People / Brand Ambassadors will work in the PGA Tour's Fan Shop from 8:30am to 6:30pm daily. That's 50 hours of work at $28.00/hour or $1,400.00 in pay available for the week's work assignment. One person can work all 50 hours as an Independent Contractor or we can divide up the days amongst two people. You must work the full shift for each day you are available to work. We are only looking for local or nearby people (45 miles or less) to work this event. You must be able to engage people walking by our display space. The right people have lots of energy and love to work with people. LOCATION: The Tournament Players Club, or TPC Deere Run, is located at 3100 Heather Knoll in Silvis, Illinois. The PGA Tour's Fan Shop is located at the Main Entrance. FREE PARKING: With your credential, our Team Members will have FREE PARKING in the Volunteers Parking Area near the #2 Green at TPC Deere Run. This is at Coaltown Road where it meets River Road in East Moline. Shuttle buses will transport staff to the tournament grounds. ADDED EXCITEMENT! On Saturday, DIERKS BENTLEY will perform a live concert after the last putt of the day drops on the 18th green. On Sunday, THE ZAC BROWN BAND performs on the 18th Green after the John Deere Classic Champion is crowned! A head & shoulders photo or selfie with the hairstyle you will have while working for us at this event. 5.) We do not pay overtime pay rates after 40 hours as you are considered an Independent Contractor. We can only hire people who can work a full day at the very least.
