Initial responses were immediate until my first paycheck
After emailing and calling for going on 2 months, I still haven’t received a response nor my payment and my hours weren’t fixed when I have proof of hours and my being at the site. Ruby Lemon is definitely a scam and I am still waiting on my pay.
This company is trash and bottom of the barrel. People always talk bad about Ruby Lemon & I now understand why. I havent got paid for an event I worked on March 8th! I tried reaching out several times and nothing! Dont work for them I highly doubt not recommend!
Still not paid by lisa who runs ruby lemon, and she lied to me and said she would zelle me the money, she refuses to communicate, just ghosts, i talked to another employee that wasn’t paid as well, and you can see on yelp the poor reviews,
if you can pay the week of, as you claim, just be honest about it.
I have reached out over 20 times for payment that was due over a month ago. Do not work for this company unless you enjoy volunteer work. There are others waiting for payment as well.
There was no organization. The scheduled shift was very last minute as in the day before. My colleague and I are still not paid, even though we have been emailing them and calling them. We keep getting different dates we will get paid and nothing. Lisa Sansom and RubyLemon is a scam.
This is by far the worst company as a veteran BA of 6yrs I’ve ever worked for! The onboarding was a nightmare! Everything was mismanaged, poor communication, (if any,) and it’s been over 2 mths and still hvnt been paid! They should be banned by all companies to even be listed as a staffing agency!
RubyLemon was great with the 5 events I've done for them, with their initial responsiveness.
Made sure the shift was filled for their client.
Do not trust this agency. They posted duplicate roles with varying pay. I accepted a $40/hr offer but was informed week-of my shift the rate was $22/hr (Black Friday gig). Parking reimbursement ($30 - gig in high-end downtown) is still unpaid and communication has stopped from Daisy and Lisa.
I am so drained from dealing with these people. I have messaged over 15 times over four different platforms. They really make you lose faith in other companies because there are people like this out there.

on 2/1, no response. I called the phone # listed on here, disconnected. Emailed TWICE , no response. I called the phone number listed on the website, disconnected. I sent a message via the website, received an error. WhatsApp,Instagram, hoping for a response. Going to the BBB & TX Comptroller.
Company doesnt seem to understand US employment laws. Paid 2 months late. Company shorted me for actual time worked, I was asked/required by co to cleanup the bar and they didn’t pay me for that time. Didnt not pay clockout time, they paid what they felt.
they can improve by actually paying workers instead of scaming them into working for free.
