Pay: $27/hr Dates: October 27–29, 2026 Location: Gaylord Opryland Resort Setting: Indoors About the Event Eleven8 Event Staff is looking for professional, friendly, and dependable staff to support NASCACon 2026 at the Gaylord Opryland. You’ll be the first point of contact for attendees. That means checking them in, helping them find their way around the convention center, and keeping things moving smoothly across three days. Positions & Schedule Tuesday, October 27 Set Up + Staff Training (2): 9:00 AM – 2:30 PM Captain (1): 1:30 PM – 7:00 PM Staff Training / Registration Staffing / Wayfinding (8): 1:30 PM – 7:00 PM Wednesday, October 28 Captain (1): 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM Registration Check-in (3): 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM Greeter (1): 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM Wayfinding (1): 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM Wayfinding Mezzanine (3): 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM Thursday, October 29 Captain (1): 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM Registration Check-in (3): 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM Wayfinding (1): 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM Wayfinding Mezzanine (1): 12:00 PM – 7:00 PM Lobby Bus Loading (2): 12:00 PM – 7:00 PM Opry Staff (1): 12:00 PM – 7:00 PM Responsibilities Check in attendees and assist with badge pickup and registration questions Greet guests and give clear directions throughout the venue, including the mezzanine level Help direct attendees during lobby bus loading Support event setup and take part in staff training on Day 1 Keep a polished, professional presence at your assigned post Captains will oversee the team, manage breaks and coverage, and act as the point of contact with the client Requirements Professional, upbeat, and comfortable engaging with a high volume of guests Punctual and reliable, especially for early 7:00 AM call times Able to stand and walk for extended periods Previous registration, hospitality, or convention experience is a plus Captain candidates should have prior lead or team management experience Uniform Show Black, Business Casual
